Who Am I Anyways?

When people speak from the heart -- speak before their minds — have a chance to reason, the voice is loud… Clear. Fireworks. I like to write from a place with no guidelines or limitations. This to me is true inspiration, wild thoughts racing around the brain. Lightening images, so quick you can barely put them to paper before another flash manifests. It’s the place where genuine feeling and passion is found. I try to write from the most honest place within me because I truly believe that if you are honest with yourself it makes growing much more achievable.

 I’m a woman, I have a wild heart. I’m a student, I have a curious mind. I’m a traveler, I have quick feet. I’m Kingdom minded. Ephesians 5:8. I’m in search of the light in life. I’m young — I haven’t lived as long as some but I have learned much from the one that I lead. I’m anxiously awaiting to receive my first silver hair, like it was meant to be a special gift or something? Then I could say with most certainty that I had been adorned with some wisdom. :) I am inspired easily, by most everything in some way. I have friends who cover the world like raindrops. Each as unique and beautiful as snowflakes and as precious to me as brothers and sisters. I’m a writer and I’ve been talking myself out of blogging for a long time. Partly due to my ignorance as to how one “ beautifies” their blogger? But also, I suppose because of timidity towards transparency. Sharing pieces of myself without knowing for sure whether my audience would know me well enough not to be overly critical was an intimidating thought. Oh but those days have long passed me by -- I’ve harvested so many ideas that my heart and my mind are nearly overflowing. I’m a writer.
